Escape from boring food! This is absolutely amazingly chocolatey and guaranteed to immobilise anyone.

• Flour (1 cup)
• Baking powder (2 tsp)
• Salt (1 tsp - optional)
• Sugar (2/3 cups)
• Cocoa powder (6 tablespoons)
• Milk (1/2 cup)
• Melted butter (2 tbsp)
• Vanilla (1 tsp - optional)
• Chopped nuts (1/2 cup - optional)
• Brown sugar (1 cup)
• Boiling water (1 1/2 cups)

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, (white) sugar & 2 tablespoons of cocoa. Add milk, melted butter & vanilla & mix till smooth and yummy looking. Stir in nuts (if wanted). Put into a largish dish, leaving a bit of extra space.

Then mix rest of cocoa, (brown) sugar & boiling water. Pour over the top of the pudding and bake for 40 mins at 350°F. Leave to stand for 10 mins before serving with lots of ice cream!
